Jacquelyn Strycker was born in Metuchen, NJ and has lived and worked in New York, San Francisco, Philadelphia, and Rome.  In 2003 she received her BA in Visual Arts from Columbia University and in 2007, she received her MFA from Tyler School of Art. She has taught at Columbia and Temple Universities, and is now the Director of Operations of the MFA Art Practice program at the School of Visual Arts. She presently lives and works in Brooklyn, and is pursuing projects in New York.
