Special Exhibitions: Minigolf Course “Arcade” and Interactive Sculpture Garden
FIGMENT
(Governors Island, New York)

FIGMENT is seeking submissions for its artist-designed minigolf courseinteractive sculpture garden, and architectural pavilion on Governors Island in New York City. FIGMENT is a free, annual celebration of participatory art and culture. In 2011, FIGMENT was voted “Best Art Festival” by the Village Voice, and received its first grant from the National Endowment of the Arts. In addition to the FIGMENT event, FIGMENT hosts a summer-long program on Governors Island that includes an an artist-designed minigolf course, interactive sculpture garden, and an architectural pavilion that is the result of a collaboration with ENYA and SEAoNY.
