Exhibition Opportunities
Texas A & M International University

Texas A&M International University is accepting exhibition proposals for the Center of Fine and Performing Arts Gallery. The CFPA Gallery invites emerging and established artists of all different media to apply for either a solo show, or for a max. 3 person group show that will take place during the 2013-2014 exhibition seasons. Exhibitions typically run between 4 to 6 weeks. All exhibition proposals must include artist resume, artist statement, installation and technical requirements, 15 to 20 images of art work created in the last three years (300 dpi, approx. 5-7 inches, JPEG format). The JPEGS must be numbered to match accompanying image list and contact sheet with thumbnails corresponding to the images. The image list should include title, year, media, dimensions, and price if for sale. SASE. Submissions must be postmarked by December 1, 2012. The Lower East Side Printshop is accepting applications for its Keyholder Residency program. Keyholders work independently in the Printshop’s shared Artists’ Studio and have access to a vibrant community of peers. Artists from all disciplines are eligible to apply; printmaking skills are not required, but some familiarity with the medium is recommended. Basic instruction in printmaking and some Master Printer assistance is included in the program. The residency includes 24-hour studio access, basic supplies, storage space, and a $1000 stipend.

The NARS foundation seeks applications for its international artist residency program. The NARS Foundation International Artist Residency Program provides national and international artists with the opportunity to produce new work while engaging with the vibrant arts community in New York City. Marsh-Billings-Rockefeller National Historic Park and the K2 Family Foundation
(Woodstock, VT)

Marsh-Billings-Rockefeller National Historic Park (MBR) and the K2 Family Foundation (K2FF) invite applications for the 2013 artist-in-residence at MBR as part of the Art And Conservation Stewardship Program. Located at the park in Woodstock, Vermont, the program offers one artist each year the opportunity to work on a site-specific or site-inspired project consistent with both MBR’s and K2FF’s concerns with sustainability and creative attention to the natural world. Artists are in residence for two months, and are encouraged to develop outreach opportunities to engage park visitors. Stipends and funds for materials are available.
