Devastation, Document, Drive: Photo Competition to benefit artists impacted by Sandy
The New York Photo Festival

Franconia Sculpture Park

Located on 20-acres, 45 miles northeast of Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN, USA. Franconia offers a place where artists live, create, and exhibit three-dimensional artwork all in one location. Artists working in three-dimensions are invited to submit ambitious project proposals for the 2013 FSP/Jerome Fellowship program (open to MN & NYC artists) or the 2013 Open Studio Fellowship Program (open to US artists). Sculpture, site-specific, multi-media, and installation work are considered. Artists are in residence at Franconia during their fellowship. Up to 10 artists/artist teams will be awarded funding support, ranging from $3,500 to $5,000 to create and exhibit new work.

Catoctin Forest Alliance

The Catoctin Mountain Artist-in-Residence Program offers visual and literary artists the opportunity to live and work for 2 weeks in the park to pursue their art with the goal of advancing art, nature and history education and appreciation of the Catoctin Mountain forest. Selected artists are provided a rent-free, furnished park house in Catoctin Mountain Park or a free campsite space in Cunningham Falls State Park for their stay.

Terminal Awards
Austin Peay State University

During the 2013 – 2014 academic year, Terminal will award four – $500 stipends to assist in the creation of new internet based art works. Terminal can provide webspace for completed projects, or the artists may elect to host the project themselves (with Terminal retaining a copy for archiving).
