The Contemporary Arts Center, New Orleans (CAC) invites submissions for consideration in its upcoming exhibition, “Unfolding Images: A photobook exhibition,” juried by Seth Curcio, associate director of Pier 24 Photography. Both self-published and commercially published books, created after January 1, 2012 are eligible.

HEREart is accepting applications for its 2013-14 season. Applications should be for complete exhibitions. Although HEREart tends to be more interested in conceptual group shows, proposals featuring one artist’s work are welcome provided that the show is conceptualized into a complete exhibition.

Tulane University seeks submissions for consideration in their upcoming exhibition, “PhotoBOMB,” curated by artists and educators Lee Deigaard and Annie Laurie Erickson. They seek photographic works that make creative use of interventions, disruptions, accidents, or inciting events. This could involve the use of systematic processes, or it could be the result of total happenstance.In conjunction with PhotoNOLA 2013, PhotoBOMB will be exhibited at The Front, a gallery located in the St. Claude Arts District in New Orleans.

The Center for Emerging Visual Artists
(Philadelphia, PA)

As a collaboration between The Schuylkill Center for Environmental Education (SCEE) and The Center for Emerging Visual Artists (CFEVA), The Landlab series invites professional artists to create projects which operate on the multiple platforms of artistic creation, ecological restoration and education. Four paid residencies of $3,000 each, taking place from April – October 2014, will grant selected artists resources and space on SCEE’s 340-acre property to engage audiences in the processes of ecological stewardship, scientific investigation, and artistic creation.

Visual Artist Fellowship
The Center for Emerging Visual Artists

The Center for Emerging Visual Artists is now accepting applications for it Visual Artist Fellowship. The Visual Artist Fellowship is designed to help artists within 100 miles of Philadelphia reach new levels in their artistic and professional practice. Artists will be asked to demonstrate a vision for the next level of their professional or artistic practice and a clear plan for CFEVA’s proposed role in reaching it. Three artists will be selected receive a full range of career support over the two-year Fellowship to ensure the successful realization of a career goal, artistic outcome, or related project as defined in the application. In addition, selected artists will receive a $1000 award and up to $3000 to cover expenses related to the proposed activity.
