Art Spin Berlin is looking for project submissions from all artistic disciplines, including visual arts, installation, new media, sculpture, film & video, performance art, dance, theater, and music, for their upcoming program. The goal of Art Spin Berlin is to combine contemporary art in public space with urban cycling in order to discover new perspectives on the city. The intention is to trigger a dialogue on the use of public space, and our streets as cyclists. The community event can be seen as an artwork in itself, and should be understood as a cohesive, communal experience open to everyone.

Artist in Residence
ARCUS Project
(Ibaraki, JAPAN)

ARCUS Project is accepting applications for their artist in residence program, which aims to support the artistic activities of emerging artists. They seek proposals for processed based, temporary works from artists outside of Japan. Accepted artists receive a work studio, a furnished studio apartment, a bicycle a prepaid cell phone, round-trip airfare, 210,000  yen for living expenses and 450,000 yen for expenses related to artistic materials and activity.

Space and Time Artist Residency
Guttenberg Arts
(Guttenberg, NJ)

Guttenberg Arts is accepting applications for the Space and Time Artist Residency. The selected artist receives access to a 4500 sq ft professionally equipped workspace for three months in Guttenberg, NJ, as well as a $3000 stipend. The artist will also be given a one month solo show and three studio visits from accomplished arts professionals. Each artist is asked to give a free public workshop and artist talk during their residency.

Art & Community Visual Arts Residency
Delaware Center for the Contemporary Arts (DCCA)
(Wilmington, DE)

DCCA is accepting applications for their Art & Community Visual Arts Residency program. During the residency, an artist lives in DCCA provided housing and makes a full-time commitment to collaborate with K – 12 youth at Kingswood Community Center (KCC) for a full academic year and summer term. Together the artist and participants will create artwork based on S.T.E.A.M. topics and relevant to the participants’ lives. The artist will work with the community group approximately 10 hours per week. The artist must also spend at least 20 hours per week in their studio practice (provided by KCC) producing independent work and reserve open hours for the public. Residencies typically culminate in an exhibition, performance, or installation at the community site and/or at the DCCA.

Headlands Center for the Arts
(Sausalito, CA)

The Headlands Center for the Arts is accepting applications for its Artist-in-Residence program, which awards fully sponsored residencies to approximately 45 local, national, and international artists each year. Residencies of four to ten weeks include flexible studio space, chef-prepared meals, comfortable housing, and travel and living stipends when available. Artists selected for this program are at all stages in their careers and work in all media, including drawing, painting, sculpture, photography, film, video, new media, installation, fiction and nonfiction writing, poetry, dance, music, interdisciplinary, social practice, and architecture.
