Artists are invited to submit proposals of sculpture, performance, and installation that engage the site of Rosendale for the au•gust art festival. Selected artists will receive $500 – $750 honorarium.

Academic, a 1200 sq foot gallery in LIC, seeks submissions from NYC based artists with day jobs for its upcoming show, “Working Artists.” There is an inherent catch-22 in the title working artist. Most emerging artists must have a job that pays to provide for the artistic practice in their life. This show aims to provide a venue for “working” artists to exhibit their work. The subject matter is open, but the work must be 24x24x24 inches or less.

2015 Farm/ Art DTour

Wormfarm seeks artists who are interested in engaging with agricultural landscape, the farmers, landowners, and surrounding communities for the 2015 Farm/ Art DTour, a 50-mile self-guided drive through the beautiful working lands of Sauk County, Wisconsin punctuated by large-scale temporary art installations, artist-built mobile farm stands and pasture performances. They will commission 5-8 Art Works to be installed on land along the 50-mile DTour route.

Curatorial Opportunity Program (COP)
New Art Center

The New Art Center’s Curatorial Opportunity Program is accepting proposals from curators and artist-curators for exhibitions involving two or more artists and at least one public presentation. Their 2,500 square-foot gallery is a converted church with a 25-foot vaulted ceiling. Curators of accepted proposals receive a 1,000 USD stipend as well as administrative, installation, marketing & PR support.

The Council of Bergen and Stiftelsen Kulturhuset USF are accepting applications for their artist residency program. The residency is open to professional, foreign artists of all fields: visual artists, writers, curators, craft artists, writers, film directors, film makers, dancers, choreographers, stage performers, performance artists, composers, musicians, audio and new media artists. The residence is open to all international artists, but not to norwegian citizens or artists living in Norway.

Artist in Residence
DordtYart
(Dordrecht, NETHERLANDS)

DordtYart, a versatile new space for contemporary art that actively searches for alternative connections between artists, the visiting public, the work and the art market, is accepting applications for their artist residency program. Housed in the Biesboschhal, a converted former shipping yard, commissioned artists create new work in an open-plan work and exhibition space. Artists in residence have access to a workshop, can get technical support and have ample space for experimentation. Artists are residents for a period of three months and will present their work to the public in an evening lecture at the conclusion of the residency. The eventually completed work or results of the research will then be exhibited at DordtYart for an agreed upon period.

Fountainhead Fellowship: Sculpture & Extended Media
Virginia Commonwealth University

Fall 2014, Spring 2015 and Summer 2015 graduating MFA sculptors are invited to apply for the VCUarts Fountainhead Fellowship. The VCUarts Fountainhead Arts Fellowship in Sculpture & Extended Media is a 9-month residency for recent MFA graduates in sculpture. Fellows are offered the chance to concentrate on their work, build their community, and gain valuable teaching experience with high-quality students. The Fellowship Recipient receives: 24-hour access to a private appx. 400sf studio; a furnished 2-bedroom apartment (shared with a fellow from another discipline); a $15,000 stipend; part-time teaching experience at VCU; and an exhibition in Richmond. Responsibilities include: teaching 2 classes/semester in the Sculpture Dept. for 2 semesters, and giving a public lecture on your work.
